Born and raised in St. Louis, Mo., Joe Teiber graduated from St. Louis University and was commissioned a Second Lieutenant through the ROTC program. He served 35 years in the United States Air Force, retiring at the grade of Colonel. Having lived in Round Rock previously during a tour of duty at Bergstrom AFB, the Teibers decided to return to this area and currently reside in Oak Brook.
 
In addition to a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Mr. Teiber holds Master of Arts degrees in both Public Administration and Human Resources Management. He is also a graduate of the Industrial College of the Armed Forces.
 
Joe is currently employed by the Round Rock Police Department as the Accreditation Manager, directing the process of maintaining national accreditation for the department. He was initially appointed to the MUD to fill a vacancy in February, 2004 and was re-elected to a full four year term in May, 2004. In addition to his service on the MUD, Joe also serves the community as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Williamson County Crime Stoppers, Inc. He is actively involved in expanding the viability of Crime Stopper programs throughout the County, including the establishment of campus programs in our area schools.
 
Joe and his wife, Beverly, have been married for 42 years and have three children, Lisa, Joseph III and Douglas. They have one grandchild, Kaitlyn.
