Household Hazardous Waste Disposal Program

The Fern Bluff MUD has joined with the City of Round Rock to make it easier and much more convenient for our residents to dispose of Hazardous Household Waste (HHW).   MUD residents will now be allowed to dispose of their HHW at the city’s Deepwood drop-off facility on limited days.

Starting June 2, 2014, Fern Bluff MUD residents may pick up a free voucher (the district will be covering the cost of the disposal) and take their HHW to the Deepwood facility, located at 310 Deepwood Drive on the 1st Wednesday of each month from 4pm to 6pm.  There will also be special spring and fall collection days each year.

Each MUD issued voucher will allow a resident to drop off up to 25 gallons or 50 pounds of Household Hazardous Waste per vehicle.  If you have just a small amount to dispose of, get together with a neighbor and combine to reach the limit if you wish.  All vouchers will be on a first come, first come basis and the district will have only 50 per month and each voucher will have an expiration date.  We do ask that if you pick up a voucher, please use it or return it.

Vouchers may be picked up at the Fern Bluff MUD Community Center at 7320 Wyoming Springs Dr., Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm.  Proof of residency in the district will be required (please bring your MUD water bill and a valid Texas Driver’s License.)
