Friendly Oaks Park

This is a picture of a large rock with the park name on it at Friendly Oaks Park.

Friendly Oaks Park, a 2.51 acre pocket park, includes a playscape, swings, exercise station, drinking fountain, and an open play space. A recently added wildflower area is a beautiful addition in spring-time. Residents may reserve the 16’ X 16’ covered pavilion at Friendly Oaks Park for their event, free of charge. For more information, contact the Fern Bluff MUD Office at 512-238-0606.

Contained in the park is a karst feature by the name of Water Tank Sink Cave, which is an environmentally protected area, surrounded by an iron fence.

Fern Bluff MUD built this park on land donated by a Stone Canyon developer and a grant from Texas Parks & Wildlife helped Fern Bluff MUD fund the park’s development. This is one of the six parks that the Fern Bluff MUD provides.
