The Fern Bluff Municipal Utility District (the “District”) is currently seeking a qualified individual to fill a vacancy on its Board of Directors.  The qualified individual must be at least 18 years of age, a resident citizen of Texas and either own land subject to taxation in the District or be a qualified voter within the District and desire to maintain a high standard of public service to the District.  The term for the vacancy, Place 5, will expire in May 2024, at which time the District will conduct a general election to elect Directors to the Board for Place 1, Place 3, and Place 5.

The Board of Directors invites all interested residents to consider applying and the Board may schedule interviews with applicants at either a regular monthly meeting or a special meeting may be scheduled.  Notification will be sent to applicants prior to the designated meeting.

The Board of Directors, staff and residents extend their heartfelt thanks to Joe Teiber for his many years of dedicated service to our District.  Joe served for 19 years, rarely missed a meeting, and was committed to our district operations, our parks and the safety and security of our residents.
