If you have misplaced an item while visiting a MUD park, greenbelt or trail, please contact the MUD Office, Monday-Friday, 9am to 5pm, at (512) 238-0606. Frequently, during routine landscaping schedules or while performing maintenance throughout the district, items such as bicycles, phones, e-readers, books, jackets and scooters are found. Crews will normally leave the item for a short time, hoping someone will remember and return for it but rather than leave an expensive item on a park bench or picnic table, these items are turned over to the MUD staff at the Community Center.
Additionally, key rings with house, car and mailbox keys are occasionally found at mailboxes, in the parks and on the trails. These are also turned in and kept in LOST & FOUND at the Community Center.
If you find an item on MUD property and would like to help it “find its way home” simply drop it off. Every effort will be made to find the rightful owner.
