May 7, 2022 – Joint, General and Special Elections

Early Voting is open for the Fern Bluff MUD Board of Directors Election and two important amendments to the State Constitution. Two seats for the Upper Brushy Creek WCID are also on the ballot. Early voting started Monday, April 25, 2022 and will continue through Tuesday, May 3, 2022.  EXCEPT:  there will be no voting on Sunday, May 1st.

Williamson County is conducting the election. For a comprehensive list of early and election day voting locations, please see the Williamson County Election site or click here.

The Fern Bluff MUD Community Center and the Brushy Creek MUD Community Center ARE NOT early voting locations. 

The nearest location for early voting is the Allen R. Baca Center, 301 W. Bagdad Ave, Building 2, Round Rock but there are several locations throughout Williamson County for your convenience. Election Day is Saturday, May 7, 2022.

The Fern Bluff MUD Community Center, 7320 Wyoming Springs Dr. Round Rock, WILL BE an Election Day location on Saturday, May 7, 2022.

The State Constitutional Amendments:

PROPOSITION 1

The constitutional amendment authorizing the legislature to provide for the reduction of the amount of a limitation on the total amount of ad valorem taxes that may be imposed for general elementary and secondary public school purposes on the residential homestead who is elderly or disabled to reflect any statutory reduction from the preceding tax year in the maximum compressed rate of the maintenance and operations taxes imposed for those purposes on the homestead.
 

PROPOSITION 2

The constitutional amendment increasing the amount of the residence homestead exemption from ad valorem taxation for public school purposes from $25,000 to $40,000.
