MUD CLOSINGS & CHANGES-COVID-19

The Fern Bluff Municipal Utility District is taking several preventative measures due to the spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19.)  The CDC has issued guidelines and recommendations, and these are changing daily, almost by the hour.  The district is working to find the best balance between maintaining basic operations, preventing the possible spread of the Coronavirus and assuring our residents that we are here to communicate as we take all appropriate actions.

Listed below are several changes, notifications, and operational changes.  Should additional steps be required, we will post to our website.

  • Based on current evidence, the risk to water supplies is very low.  Fern Bluff MUD customers may continue to use, and drink tap water as usual and no changes or shortages are expected.
  • The MUD office and Community Center have been closed to the public.  Customers may pay their utility bills online at www.fernbluffmud.org (click on PAY MY BILL) use our convenient DROPBOX in the community center parking lot or mail a check to the address on the bill.
  • Phone lines are still open from 8 am to 5pm and staff is available to answer questions.  Please feel free to give us a call!  512-238-0606
  • Due to CDC advice and recommendations, District park restrooms and pavilions are CLOSED until further notice.  We encourage all of our residents to practice healthy “social distancing.”  We ask that no one conduct any event in a district park.

The Fern Bluff MUD encourages residents to check the district’s website LATEST NEWS for updates and if you have not signed up for the district’s emergency email list, now is the time to do it!  Please go to the website, www.fernbluffmud.org home page and click on SIGNUP FOR IMPORTANT EMAIL NOTIFICATIONS.
