March 2026 Fern Bluff MUD Update

General Manager Change

Janey Miller has retired as the General Manager of the MUD after 20+ years of service in the district.  The Board of Directors and the office/operations team thank Janey for her tireless service and wish her happy days as she moves on from the responsibilities of keeping our water flowing, our parks beautiful, and the many other tasks that the job entails.

The Board of Directors appointed Hector Alanis as our new General Manager. Hector has been involved in all aspects of our operations, and we are confident he can pick up the responsibilities of the position quickly and effectively.  Congratulations on your new position.

Automatic Hydrant Flushing in Oak Brook

Fern Bluff MUD has installed four automatic flushing devices in Oak Brook. These units will from time to time flush the lines as needed. For more information on hydrant flushing, please visit the Fern Bluff website at this link, item #5.

Spring Bulk Trash Pickup

Fern Bluff has set the date for May 9th for the spring bulk trash pickup. See our announcement on our website at this link for what will/will not be collected.

Year-Round Watering Restrictions

Twice per week watering restrictions remain in effect. Please take the time to adjust your irrigation systems to follow the year-round watering schedule. Keep in mind that after you make changes to your irrigation timer you should verify that it is following the schedule as expected.  Please follow the schedule for your address.
