Hairy Man Road, and the Brushy Creek Regional Trail adjacent to it, from Great Oaks Drive to Sam Bass Road will be CLOSED, starting Monday, November 8, 2021. This closure is due to the county’s Great Oaks Bridge Project and the CLOSURE is expected to last through the summer of 2022.
The entire area will be CLOSED to vehicles and foot traffic. Barricades will be installed and the county is asking all residents, for their safety as well as the safety of the construction crews to please AVOID this area. On Tuesday, November 9th, the Williamson County Commissioners Court will be discussing the 2021 Precinct Redistricting. The proposal moves residents in the Fern Bluff MUD from Precinct 1 to Precinct 3 for Commissioner, Constable and Justice of the Peace. The court will be meeting at the county courthouse in Georgetown at 9:30 am.
Also on Tuesday, November 9th, the City of Round Rock will attend the Fern Bluff MUD meeting to update the Wyoming Springs Extension Project. This project is expected to begin in 2022.
