Due to recent rains helping to fill area lakes, the Fern Bluff MUD (in accordance with it’s wholesale water contract with the City of Round Rock)has lifted all mandatory water restrictions effective today, March 26, 2012.

We are asking all of our residents to follow our voluntary twice a week watering schedule, based on each house address.

Residential Odd Numbered Addresses                  Wednesday and/or Saturday

Residential Even Numbered Addresses                Thursday and/or Sunday

Texas is still in drought conditions and our area lakes are in about the same condition as this time last year.  We ask our residents to follow some simple water conservation tips; please:

•            Make every effort not to irrigate between the hours of 10 am and 7pm
•           Check irrigation systems periodically
•           Do not irrigate on windy days
•           Water as much as needed but do not over-water

We should all strive to be good stewards of our natural resources and “WATER WISELY!”

We send our sincere thanks to all of our residents for your help during this recent drought and appreciate everyone’s sacrifice.

Learn basic cooking skills in this introductory cooking class.  You’ll create a complete meal, including drink, appetizer, soup, main dish, sides, and dessert!

Have fun making a variety of chocolate desserts while learning all about chocolate.  We will read recipes, measure, mix, bake, dip, and create delicious concoctions out of chocolate every day!

LEGO FUNGINEERING – ANIMALS

Young budding engineers love this “hands-on, minds-on” program.  Concepts of simple machines such as gears, levers and wheels are introduced through a series of activity-card LEGO building projects.

June 4-8, 9A – Noon

Grades:  Rising K – 1^st Grade

LEGO MINDSTORMS – BATTLE BOTS

Campers learn to design and build their own motorized battle cars and other vehicles.  Using principles of simple and complex machines, gearing, and mechanical advantage, students will try to flip, push, or smash their opponent’s battle vehicles.

June 18-22, 9A – Noon

Grades:  Rising 4^th Grade – 7^th Grade

LEGO ROBOTICS:  AMAZING MACHINES
