Fall Bulk Pick-Up

To Our FERN BLUFF MUD Residents:

On Saturday, October 2, 2021, starting at 7 am the Fern Bluff MUD will have its FALL BULK PICKUP.  Central Texas Refuse, the MUD’s contractor for solid waste removal, will collect trash and brush placed at the curb. Items must be placed on the curb NO LATER THAN OCTOBER 2ND at 7 a.m. Items placed after 7 a.m. will be the resident’s responsibility to dispose. When placing items, please do not block the sidewalk. Items may be placed in the street. If you encounter any pickup issues, please contact Central Texas Refuse (Round Rock Refuse) at 512-255-4980.  Click HERE to view the flyer.

Update from the Board of Directors Special Meeting on June 29, 2021

The Fern Bluff MUD Directors passed a Resolution to increase the Over-65 and/or Disabled Exemptions from $15,000 currently to $25,000.

After consulting with financial advisors, the board discussed a homestead exemption, a tax rate reduction, or a combination of both.   The budget committee’s initial analysis for the fiscal 2022 budget, shows a reduction of the MUD tax rate of $.279/100 to $.25/100 as the fairest and most financially advantageous choice for all of our residents.
