Mini-bikes, dirt bikes, motorized (including battery powered) scooters, ATV’s and “pocket rocket” motorcycles are STRICTLY PROHIBITED in the Fern Bluff MUD parks, trails, greenbelts and drainage areas. County ordinances also prohibit them on trails, streets and sidewalks and Texas law states they are only allowed on private property. Violations of this prohibition are considered trespassers and will be reported to the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. District-wide security cameras will be used to identify violators.
Spring has arrived and turf and landscaping are coming out of dormancy. These vehicles are destroying the new growth in our parks, on the berms, in the greenbelts and in our fields. We all have turf and landscaping at our homes, and we are sure, no one would approve of or appreciate a neighbor driving vehicles across our turf.
As a reminder: Fishing is NOT ALLOWED in the Oak Brook Ponds. Sheriff deputies are making routine patrols in the area and violators may be issued criminal trespass warnings.
As you may have seen, new park playgrounds are being installed in all district parks and with the equipment, new mulch and artificial turf. Dogs are not allowed in the park playground areas, and no dogs should be within the new turf and mulch areas.
Reminder: Dogs must be leashed when leaving your property.
